Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.

How did you know if you were left or right handed? I’m guessing you just knew. It’s the same with gender.
DIVERSE GENDER WORKSHOP
This workshop is designed for anyone who parents, cares for, or works with individuals who may be gender curious, questioning, or transgender.
Exploring or expressing gender identity takes immense courage — especially in a world that often expects conformity. At Space 2 Connect, we create a respectful, safe space to unpack the complexity and beauty of gender diversity.
What You'll Learn:
The difference between gender identity and gender expression
Why a child’s exploration of gender does not always mean they are transgender
How to support someone through their gender journey — emotionally, practically, and respectfully
Tools to manage your own emotions as a parent, carer, or support person
Coming out — whether as gender diverse or as a supportive family member — can evoke a full spectrum of emotions: fear, confusion, shame, joy, relief, empowerment, and love. It's normal to feel unsure about what to say or how to respond. You're not alone in this.
If someone in your care has been insistent, consistent, and persistent about their gender identity, this is your opportunity to deepen your understanding and feel more confident in your support.
You don’t need to have all the answers. Just a willingness to listen, learn, and lead with love.
